Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my Dallas wedding photography blog! I'm a wedding and portrait photographer in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. I'm so excited you're here and I hope you enjoy my images. I truly love photography—the people, the places, the feeling and the stories behind the photos. I hope you are inspired by the photos I capture and that they inspire you to consider me for your wedding day or engagement, bridal, senior or family portrait session.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you come back often to see what's been developing.

Sincerely,

Allison

Melanie: Bridal Portraits at Dallas Baptist University

Melanie and Grant were married in December. I’ve been a little behind on sharing some of my favorites from her bridal portrait session at Dallas Baptist University. Melanie also loved all of the bridal portraits that I had done in random fields throughout the metroplex. So while we did this series last, I just love Melanie’s beautiful eyes in the golden fields. So enjoy! mc_15mc_12mc_16The DBU campus has so many beautiful areas for portraits.mc_11Melanie chose this one as one of the bridal portraits she displayed at her reception. mc_13mc_9I love this long shot of the back of Melanie’s Dress. mc_7Melanie is such a happy girl! I love my happy brides. :) mc_8And again with her blue eyes! Ah, Melanie—I love them!

Amanda + John: Wedding at The Tribute in The Colony {Part 3}

Welcome to Part 3 at Amanda & John’s Wedding at The Tribute Golf Club in The Colony. Amanda did an amazing job coordinating all of her details for her wedding day. I loved her color palette of teal (turquoise) and red (cranberry). You can read about all of her wedding inspiration at her Project Wedding Profile. It was such a great wedding color selection for her November wedding. So enjoy all of her sweet details and her fun-filled reception photos. aj_d_1aj_d_2aj_d_3aj_d_5aj_d_7aj_d_9aj_d_17aj_d_10aj_d_11aj_d_12aj_d_13They had their guests write messages on rocks in the center of their table. aj_d_16I love the flowing drapery in the Banquet Hall at The Tribute Golf Clubaj_3_8Amanda & John walked hand-in-hand and visited with all of their guests at the beginning of their reception. aj_3_9First Dance and all party music provided by Groovy Sounds Production. John surprised Amanda with the first song.aj_3_15aj_3_16Yay! Cake time brought to you by Sweet Art Bakery.
aj_3_1aj_3_3aj_3_2The toast time during Amanda & John’s Reception was a really sweet time. I enjoyed all of the stories and the well-wishes. aj_3_4One of John’s cousins gave the funniest toast because he shared the story of how Amanda & John met at American Eagle back in high school. Amanda was working there at the time. And John’s cousin was actually trying to get Amanda’s number, but at the end, John went up and got her number and beat out his cousin for it. Such an awesome story!
aj_3_5aj_3_6John is the youngest of 10 — so this was the fun way that Amanda was initiated into the family.aj_3_7aj_3_10aj_3_12aj_3_11aj_3_30Thanks so much for choosing me for your wedding photography! I had such a wonderful time photographing your wedding at the Tribute Golf Club. It was such a beautiful day!

January 30, 2010 - 8:36 am Jenna Cole - Awwww, that cross stitch is so sweet! Love hearing the story behind the photos, like the one where she is being "initiated" into the family.

January 28, 2010 - 7:38 pm Jeremy Gilliam - Sweet details, and great photos of them! Really diggin' the mother/son dance and the elevator shot!
