Meet Alex and Nick! They’re getting married in June at Prestonwood Baptist Church. Alex and Nick just mesh—they’re just two people who belong together. They’re very fun and affectionate and I enjoyed photographing their sweet connection during our engagement portrait session. It feels like we haven’t seen the sun in months, so I was basking in the glorious sun during our engagement portrait session. These first photos tell the story of a passionate love and I LOVE them! I love the warm light, the connection between Alex and Nick and I love the captured emotion. We photographed part of their engagement session at the Arbor Hill Nature Preserve in Plano and part at the Shops at Legacy and inside the Marriott, where they’ll be having their wedding reception in June. So enjoy these photos. I totally appreciate comments, so if you’ve stopped by the blog but have never said,” hi,” I’d love to hear from you. Have a great day!

Thank you Alex and Nick for choosing me for your wedding photography. I’ve had a wonderful time getting to know you and I’m overjoyed to capture the sweet memories of your wedding day.

Sarah + Ben: Wedding & Reception at the Melrose Warwick Hotel in Dallas
Sara & Ben were married Dec. 27 at the fabulous Melrose Warwick Hotel in Downtown Dallas. They held their sweet ceremony and reception at the Melrose for their intimate wedding. Sara and I have actually known each other since fourth grade (I mean way, way back!). So when she e-mailed me about photographing her wedding, I was just overjoyed for her! She is a genuinely sweet person and though I only met Ben at the wedding I have no doubt that he will take great care of my sweet friend. On top of that, her maid of honor was the same best friend she’s had since I’ve known her (also named Sara?!?!). I just loved it when she told me that fun news. Sara’s wedding was very sweet, romantic and simple. The most important thing was having her closest family and friends present to celebrate her wedding day. I throughly enjoyed photographing all of the fun details and tablescapes at Sarah’s wedding at the Melrose Warwick because of all of the great red and gold accents. They also gave their guests fresh Honduran coffee beans in custom bags for their favors because they will be moving to Honduras in the coming months. So enjoy all of the beautiful photos from their winter wedding at the Melrose Warwick Hotel.

Elizabeth: Bridal Portraits at Highland Park United Methodist Church
Elizabeth married Evan in December at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Highland Park inside the Cox Memorial Chapel. It’s an sweet, intimate chapel. Can’t wait to share photos with you from their wedding.. I photographed their engagement portraits in August at SMU just next door. I’m just getting to share her bridal portraits with you now. I love photographing bridal portraits at Highland Park United Methodist because the church has beautiful architecture. Enjoy the beautiful and fabulous Elizabeth! I’ll be posting their wedding photographs in the coming weeks. So back and check them out.
