Kristi + Dave: Engagement Portraits in Plano, Texas

Meet Kristi & Dave! They are a super-sweet couple who had a whirlwind winter break. Kristi and Dave are living in Chicago where Dave is in medical school in Chicago. Dave proposed to Kristi in California while they were visiting his family for Christmas. After they were engaged, they flew to Dallas to share the news with her family. While they were in town, we met and scheduled their engagement session for the day before their return to Chicago. It was such a joy to photograph them for their engagement session. They were so full of love an affection for each other and I love it when couples still have that bubbly spirit after they’re engaged. We photographed their engagement session at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve and at the Shops at Legacy near the Christmas tree since Dave proposed on Christmas Eve. Enjoy their photos!

Love these photos in the tall fields at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. Love the lens flare in this shot! This series by the trees at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve was one of my favorite spots for the day. This is my favorite photo from the session. It was so hard to pick a favorite from their session, but I love the expressions on their faces and the warmth of the sun peeking from around Dave’s head. It’s just so romantic—just like Kristi & Dave!
