My Inspiration

I am inspired by love—inspired by God’s love for us, inspired by love between couples, inspired by love between family members. I am inspired to live and to work by these loves.

Amazingly, I am somewhat of a romantic—moved by love stories of all sorts. I want others to be moved by your great love and great moment in life and I want to share the story of your great love through photographs. I want to create romantic, beautiful and fun photographs of you and for you.

Inspiring Weddings

A wedding is more than an occasion for a great party. It’s a celebration of your commitment to your spouse—a commitment of faithfulness, honor and everlasting love. I want to capture all of the events of your big day from putting on your dream dress, to exchanging your vows and having your first dance as a married couple. Then as you reflect upon your wedding day photos, I hope they help you remind you of your inspiring love for one another.

Inspired by Photography

I know what emotions photographs can stir in you. Photographs are personal pieces of art. They give you happy moments to reflect upon. They give you piece of your past in your present. They warm up your home.

I love the creativity that comes with planning a shoot, photographing a wedding day, editing the photos and compiling a set of personal photographs for you to treasure.

I like to photograph in a mixture of styles: documentary, contemporary portraiture and traditional portraiture. But one of my favorites is capturing the candid moments of life, which is why wedding photography is so much fun for me. Coming from a newspaper background, I am accustomed to getting the shot that captures the whole of the event. I know how to tell a story through photographs and I would love to tell your story—your wedding story, your engagement story, your family story or your story of growing up. I also love taking a couple of moments to set up a beautiful or romantic portrait. But the best way to explain my style is just through looking at my portfolio.
